The Radia Dam, a popular reservoir & lake is known for various species of fresh water fish & migratory birds. The lake also serves as an ideal source of livelihood for nearby villagers for feeding their cattle, watering their farms & vast vegetation due to its tendency to store water throughout the year.
The dam attracts a large number of migratory birds such as Geese, Pintail, Anhinga (Snake Bird), Shoveller, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Garganey Teal, Wigeon, Fadwall & occasional Siberian Cranes.
